After login our Linux public servers, make sure quit your Pine before doing this
At the prompt, type 'touch .pine-passfile'
It will create an empty file name '.pine-passfile' to store your secret password.
WARNING: Protect this file '.pine-passfile' as there are tool can decipher this file.
Restart alpine, check for email and send email, and when asked for a password, enter it and respond to the prompt asking you if you want to save the password.
Restart your pine and repeat the test to make sure it works.
