Unfortunately, Vancouver housing is quite expensive, and we cannot provide extra nights for funded participants.

UBC accommodations runs several hotels on campus (pacific spirit hostel being the most affordable).

Do I need a visa for Canada? Can you help?
Participants from some countries require a visa to enter Canada.
In recent years visa processing times are long.
Some others need only to apply for an ETA before flying, which takes up to a day (but often just a few minutes).
It is your responsibility to find out whether you need a visa.
If you need a visa, we urge you to apply as soon as possible.
We can provide necessary documentation for funded participants.
