Hike information
On each Wednesday there will be organized excursions in the region. These are optional, and some may involve an added charge to cover transportation. Details about hikes will be posted here and communicated by email to registered participants. Good hiking footwear is required; Hikers will be required to sign a PIMS waiver before June 1. Tentative hiking plan is below. If a Wednesday has bad weather we may delay the plan by a week.On June 1, we will go to the Stawamus Chief or the sea to sky Gondola trail. The gondola trail climbs up and we take the gondola down at the end (costs \$20) There is also an easy option (at extra cost) of taking the gondola up and enjoying the easier trails at the top.
June 8: Mount Gardner on Bowen Island. Public transit to horseshoe bay and public ferry to the island are required. Registration link will be here. See also These directions.
